  • 1963年, ソウル生まれ, 東京在住

Mi-Yeon（1963年、ソウル生まれ）は、1991年にパリのICART Photoを卒業後、東京を拠点に活動してきたアーティストである。写真、文章、アーティストブックを横断しながら、自己と他者、個と集合、可視と不可視の境界を探究する、深い哲学性を備えた実践を展開している。ソウル、パリ、東京という複数の文化圏を生きてきた自身の経験を背景に、アイデンティティ、記憶、精神性、そして人間と世界を結ぶ複雑な関係性について考察を続けている。
