Moemi Sasaki
- Born in 1991, Hokkaido
Currently based in Kyoto. Completed the Master's Program in Crafts (Lacquerware) at Kyoto City University of Arts.
Focusing on the continuity of human activity and the passage of time from past to future, she creates works using *kintsugi* and *yobitsugi* techniques—joining together fragments of ceramics collected from rivers flowing through Kyoto with lacquer.
Major solo exhibitions include *Shells of the City* (ROD GALLERY, Tokyo, 2024); major group exhibitions include *Practicing Restoration* (The Terminal KYOTO, Kyoto, 2025).
